whoops, or what I’m up to these days
I recently declared that I’d use Tumblr henceforth largely to share stuff that is at least tangentially related to my creative efforts, and then… came up with nothing much to share. Sorry about that. Of course, in a few days Green Arrow: Shooting Star #13 will go live and I’ll share that.
I do have some new work coming up but — and everyone surely hates this behavior, I know I do — I can’t currently say anything about any of it. I will say that I’m about to start working (in a director role, that is) on my part of Wonder Woman: Champion of Themyscira #76, which is my final episode as lead or any other sort of director on the show. I started as assistant director on #28 and took over as lead and sole director as of #31; Jerry Crawford joined as my assistant director on issue #49 (I believe) and his final episode was #60; finally Lothar Tuppan joined as assistant director somewhere around #63 or #64 and the show is all his, director-wise, after we finish this one. Point being… it’s been a long job. I did little more but sign off and do things like commentaries and trailers on #74 and #75, so that’s been nice, but the season finale is a beast so I’m back in and will be directing the final third of the episode. As an actor, I have the final line of the episode, which kind of warms my heart…
But yeah, otherwise, nothing much I can tell you, and some of it I’m not yet sure about. I haven’t even really started planning what I’ll be doing once the directing is completely behind me, and… well, right now it depends, see… I got nothin’. I’ll try to remember to say something here in between posting fun stuff that seems relevant to me somehow.
